Enhanced Primary Care Plan
Children with a chronic condition receive funding for 5 allied health sessions a year (including occupational therapy). GP referral and care plan is necessary. For more information go to: www.health.gov.au/epc
Better Access to Mental Health Treatment Plan
This is a plan set up by your GP, Carly is registered to provide services under this plan.
It provides rebates for 10 sessions a year provided by an eligible allied health care professional (including psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists or social workers). The Mental Health difficulties covered under the scheme are:
Anxiety, phobias and depression
Behaviour problems
Difficulties in controlling emotions (including anger)
Sleep problems
Concentration and attention problems
Bed-wetting and other toileting problems
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
Developmental Disorders including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Aspergers Disorder and Pervasive Developmental Disorder
Helping Children with Autism Package – Medicare
This is a plan set up by the child’s paediatrician or psychiatrist. It provides rebates for up to 4 assessment sessions and 20 intervention sessions with allied health professionals over the child’s lifespan until they are 12. For more information see: www.health.gov.au/autism
